Choker in sturdy 925 silver wire with central bronze made with the micro-casting technique, dedicated cut stone Blue Topaz. I immediately loved this artistic movement born more than 100 years ago, the Bauhaus was the most significant school of design, architecture and art of the 20th century, its main objective was to reconcile artistic creation with industrial production, that is, combining the value aesthetics of an object with the technical and functional component. Many objects in our daily use derive from the research of the Bauhaus, which was essentially a founding movement of contemporary design and has in fact continued to influence style beyond its time in all sectors, combining linearity and minimalism. During my trip to Berlin a few years ago I went to visit the Berlin school museum... but I wasn't lucky, it was closed. But just seeing the shapes of the building and appreciating its history even in the disappointment of not being able to visit it sparked my creativity and made me create this choker.
